Perfection. Just LOVE this! You TOTALLY did these photos justice. Your journaling is so heartfelt and gave me goosebumps. Love the tape on the photos and the little wisp of a stamp at the corner. Just awesome!
Oooh old photos are the best! But so nerve-wracking, too. They seem to be treasures and I *totally* understand how you feel. I think you did a *wonderful* job with these. And of course in your usual Amanda style.... your journaling hits the mark.... the heart. Way to go!

Amanda....I LOOOOVE that you share these photos with us!!!!!!! I LOVE how you did this page as well! I also noticed the date on the picture...made me smile....my husband and I were married on May 27.....in the year 2000 though....heehee.....;) OH and YES she is beautiful in the photos!!!
oh my GOSH... how NERVE-racking was this??!!?? i've been working on this page for over a WEEK now!! i *still* may change it. nothing i did for these pictures seemed to be good enough. haha. i've spent a lot of time in liz's gallery (and her shop! lol) for inspiration, that *certainly* helped!! sigh. this is my mom (and her best friend) in the top picture putting the garter on and then mom & dad in the bottom picture with dad taking it off. hehe. i love everything about these photos. the vintage color tone (untouched) and feel of them, my mom's hair, the grin on my dad's face, my mom's shoes... sigh... i'm SOOOOOOOOOO happy to finally have my hands on these things!! now if i can just get them scrapped in a way that does them justice.
JOURNALING: Significance. These photos may not look like much, but they are crucial to everything. They mark the day that my life became possible. Not only is that top picture my favorite of their wedding photos, but it signifies so much. She was preparing for life. She was preparing for marriage. She was prearing for me. The subsequent events following this moment define your very existence. Through all of the hard times, through all of the laughs, tears, fears, and frustrations, it all come together to create my personality. This, in turn, designed yours. Isn’t she beautiful? She completely gave her life over to us and for this, she is so very loved.
