Wow, this is great! I love all the green, the stitching, the embellies, the details are perfect! I also love the picture you and David. Your darling David is a great writer, and I love the journaling. If you turn into leprechauns please come visit me!
I love everything about this layout: Your take on the sketch is so creative, I love the green (my fav color), the sewing, the lace, all of it. Awesome.
I like how you did this, considering all the "flair" you use on your bodies, it was cool to make the pics b/w and then translate the flair you wore to the page, otherwise it could have been overwhelming. it works
You'd never know it's been months since you scrapped. This is really beautiful. I haven't tried the folded flowers yet - but these are so festive and cute, I'm thinking I'll probably give them a go! Thanks for the inspiration.
~Hidden Journaling: (Written By Darling David) If I told you that Andrea and I were into wearing flair would you instantly think of that irritating server from the movie Office Space? Before I actually put on a little holiday flair this would've been what crossed my mind. But seriously, our flair is really fun! It started in 2008 when Andrea wanted to get something for both of us to wear to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. We were able to find some cool tee-shirts in both our sizes and suddenly a tradition was born. The following year we added some stylish cloverleaf glasses (very cool) and just over a month ago we snatched up some actual buttons with holiday sayings to further decorate our original shirts. Our next flair target has already been identified….leprechaun hats! I've come to the conclusion that at some point in this flair tradition one of three things will eventually happen. 1) We will finally run out of things to add to our collection (this is unlikely seeing how many there are for St. Patrick's Day and that we only buy one per year). 2) We finally run out of bodily areas for the flair to go on (again unlikely as Andrea is a genius at the creative addition of items for a potential picture). Or 3) We both end up one day physically turning into leprechauns (which is the best of the three endings as this at least gives us the chance at the pot of gold!).
