This will be my June project for the All About Me book that I teach at my LSS. I've been thinking about this LO for a while, after I saw Flávia Stefaneli's LO on the same topic.

I'm going to turn this into the Scrap Your Faves for my last lift for the month of May. I thought about turning it in for my Scraptathlon #4, but decided I should be a little more "get after it" with the misting for that project, so I'm going to go ahead and publish it today.

Eventually, I'll journal on this, but I just never seem to have the words when I want them, so I usually journal on a separate sheet of paper and adhere it to a 12x12 black cardstock. Then I slide it in facing the page that I've journaled on so that the journaling and LO are side by side when the book is open. This seems to have worked for me so far, and it takes the "you have to journal before it's done" pressure off of me and I can do it when the mood hits me.

Of course, that keeps me from getting a lot of AGC journal points, so maybe for the month of June, I'll have to change my way of thinking. ;-)

I've used Worn Lipstick handmade glimmer mist on the flowers, glittering crystal 3d paint for the butterfly trails, and stardust stickles on the butterfly bodies. After I loaded this image, I went back and put some gunmetal stickles on the flourishes on the left side - it just needed a little bit of dressing up and that last little touch did it. I didn't bother reloading the image though. You'll have to use your imagination.

The title is done on a transparency sheet, adhered to the patterned paper with glossy accents. It's sort of become an easy "go-to" method of titles for my class teaching projects because it's fast, easy, and I can create them ahead of time for my students.

The photo was taken by my riding companion this morning at our weekly outing at Prague Lake - a local bridle trail center and camping site.

Thanks for looking at my work. I appreciate your comments and suggestions!
