This was a piecework class that I took at my LSS last week, but I didn't finish it until today. I'm going to use it as one of my 365 project layouts. Basically, I'm taking a photo a day, but I'm only scrapping one a week. This week, this photo is pretty significant. The storm that came through here Monday night and Tuesday day left record amounts of snow. There are drifts out in the pasture that are over my head and the wind chills are well below zero.

The two horses in the picture - Frosty and Flicka - have access to a shelter, but insisted on standing out IN the weather; Frosty even so much as standing face into the wind. I will never understand why horses prefer to be out in the elements. At least they're all wearing blankets, so I'm not too terribly worried about them.

This photo was taken right at sunrise - the blue tint was kind of cool, I thought. The snow is blowing all over, and the sun just can't seem to make an impact on the blue gloom.

I hate the cold. I REALLY hate the cold.
