LUV the story - there was a similar NPR story about a horse who's owner died and an elder stable hand who's horse died. It was a match made in pasture heaven. My GF was a trainer at the tracks and was known as Jasper.

This is a beautiful yet fittingly masculine page and the story is so heartwarming; it truly gave me the warm fuzzies! I love animals and always love a happy ending when it comes to them! ((HUGS)) to you for saving him and ((HUGS)) to Jasper/Reagan just cuz he's so darn cute!
