Here's my kit for March, all bagged up by pages and ready to help me be productive using up stash and supplies for March.

It doesn't usually sit here on my desk. It's usually on the floor right under my desk, where it's quick and handy to get to but out of my way when I'm working at my desk.

~ * ~ * ~ * ~

It's not that complicated if you want to duplicate this idea. It appeals to MY sense of organization and I like having the whole thing together in one place so there is less digging and more time for creating.

The page bags themselves are the Hefty 2.5 gallon ones. Inside I have smaller bags in graduating sizes to keep the embellishments separate and keep things from getting bent, squooshed, or lost in the creative frenzy.

I have two empty 2.5 gallon bags and a couple of empty quart ones as well at the bag of the box. I put any leftover paper and scraps in one and leftover embellishments in the other one. That way, I can always pull that bag out when I get going on my next project to see if there's anything from my last project that I might want to use up or use again. It also means that at the end of the month, when it's time to clean up my kit, I only have two bags of things to put away ... Then I recycle the bags for the next month.

It took me a while to come up with how the concept would work, but I have to say that for the third month, I'm really happy with how easy this has made my crafting life. I spend time at the front of the month putting together the page kits, then when I have scrapping time, all I have to do is pull one of my kit bags and I'm ready to play, and my play time is all about creating and none about hunting or deciding. That part's already been done.

Limiting? Maybe. Creatively challenging? You bet.
