I think I'm slipping. Not my best effort, though it took me a while. The metallic card stocks were fighting me with a lot of scratches every time I touched it. I may try something with hexagons.
The idea for this card came from a virtual "retreat/escape" I was a part of 2 weeks ago. A similar card to this was shown as an alternate to stacking shapes. I cannot link it here, as it was a private group, and we were asked not to share the videos/photos or PDFs from the retreat (it was a paid event), but we could show our own projects.
My uncle turns 90 this month. He's been a second dad to me for many years.
I used Tim Holtz Sizzix Stacked Tiles, Triangles dies; gold, light champagne (looks silver), and copper metallic card stocks; and from Stampin' Up: Playful Alphabet dies, Early Espresso and Sahara Sand solid card stocks, sentiments from stamp sets Wildlife Wonder and Flowing Flowers, Early Espresso ink pad, and Brushed Metallic Dots embellishments (which I probably went overboard with).
