This week's AGC is about Spiritual Wellness - which means different things to different people, and isn't really about religion so much as it is about your own life's center of well being. Our specs were to

1. Use a photo of a place we associate with peace and well-being. This is a photo of the pier at Laurel Bay, South Carolina. It's a place that I associate with home, with family, and with happiness. Laurel Bay was the first time we were a "real" family - my daddy had taken over the squadron of fighter pilots at the Marine base, and he came home every night instead of spending long periods of time over seas. My mother was happy - we were ALL happy. This little stretch of marshy coast was a great place for catching blue crabs, playing with sand crabs, running up and down in our bare feet, and just hanging out being kids. It smells the way I'm pretty sure heaven will.

2. To journal about our Life's Vision or our Guiding Principles. Principle is always easier for me than Vision. I'm not really a visionary kind of person - I'm more of a "tell me what you want done and I'll get it done" kind of girl. I leave the visions up to others - and then I just make those visions realities. I've done a close up of the 10 guiding principles that I try to live MY life by, and I've grouped it with this project if you want to take a peek. But I think you guys all know me pretty well, and I doubt there will be any surprises there for anybody.

3. Use a peaceful color palette, your favorite scrapping style, and the word PEACE, HARMONY, or SPIRIT in our title. Peace - that's what this place is for me. I was fortunate to be able to go back in 2010 as an adult and see it again, and it's unchanged from the way I remember it. I closed my eyes, breathed in really deep, and I was 7 years old again. I hope - I know - that on the other side of this life, THIS place is waiting for me...
