I'm participating in the 50 cards in 50 days challenge.

I'm also stacking that challenge on top of a project going on at my LSS - Cards For Troops. The idea is to create handmade cards for our overseas soldiers to send home to their families.

Because of the way the overseas postage works, cards for this project have to be "flat." Too much dimension, and the troop has to pay extra postage to get it home to his or her family.

This is my first of 50 cards for the challenge. It's really testing my creative skill to embellish a card without going "vertical" with it. The little buttons are thin chipboard, covered with cardstock, then embossed.
