This is my 11th card in the 50 Cards in 50 Days Challenge. It's a fast moving challenge, no question, but my DH is loving that these cards are getting done. In fact, he even mentioned tonight that he might start addressing the envelopes! I told him he could wait until after Thanksgiving.

I've been stacking this challenge with my LSS Cards For Troops project. The ones I'm doing for that project are the same papers, and the same basic design, but some of the embellishment details are slightly different. The cards going overseas have to be flat so that our service men and women don't have to pay extra postage to send them home to their loved ones.

The other difference is a size one. The cards my family sends out are 4 x 5 1/2. The Cards for Troops are the big 5x7 ones - leaving a lot more room for soldiers to write messages home in.
